Tasarım notları (İngilizce)
Number-shaped holders that stand a normal thin birthday candle up on a cake, and stay a keepsake after the candle burns down. Ten numbers, 0 through 9.
Each number is about 73 mm tall and 42 mm wide, 7.5 mm thick, with a spike underneath that pushes into the cake and a 4.3 mm socket, 7 mm deep, in the top edge. That is the size of a standard thin party candle — the ones sold in packs of twenty-four. Measure yours before you print a whole set.
Printing
They print flat, one number per plate, ten plates in all — about 3 hours 40 for the whole set and 60 g of filament. Print only the numbers you need; a single number is 17 to 24 minutes and under 7 g.
0.16 mm layers, 2 walls, 10% infill, no supports. The finer layer height is for the outline; at 0.2 mm the raised rim loses its edge.
The two-colour finish
It comes out of the file. There is a filament change already set at 7 mm, so the last 0.5 mm — the raised outline around the digit — prints in your second colour while the recessed face stays the first. On a single-extruder printer this is one manual swap near the end of the print; with an AMS it is automatic.
Keep the flame away from the plastic. The candle sits above the holder for a reason, and PLA softens well below the temperature of a burning wick — do not let a candle burn down into the socket.
