Alquerque, dama oyununun atası sayılan ve yaklaşık bin yıldır Orta Doğu ile İspanya'da oynanan bir oyundur. Taşlar çizgiler boyunca birer adım ilerler; rakip taşın üstünden atlayıp arkasındaki boş noktaya geçince taş alınır, zincir sürüyorsa atlamaya devam edilir. İki kişilik, yaklaşık on beş dakikalık, zar ve kart içermeyen bir pozisyon oyunudur.

Alquerque is the game checkers came from - roughly a thousand years old, played across the Middle East and Spain long before the modern draughts board existed. KURE is that game as a printed set: a board with the grid cut into it, fourteen ball pieces, a rack to line them up in, and a box that the whole thing lives in.
How it plays
Move one piece one step along a line. To capture, jump an adjacent enemy piece into the empty point beyond it, and keep jumping if the chain continues. You win by taking every enemy piece or leaving your opponent with no legal move.
Two players, about fifteen minutes, no dice and no cards - it is pure position. An eight year old can learn it in two minutes and still lose to it for years.
What prints
Four plates:
Board and box - 4 hours 9, 134 g. The grid is recessed into the surface so pieces settle into their points instead of rolling around.
Piece rack - 33 minutes, 15 g. Seven dimples to line up one side before the game.
Pieces, player 1 - 51 minutes, 13 g, seven balls.
Pieces, player 2 - same again in your second colour.
About 6 hours 20 and 174 g for the complete set. 0.2 mm layers, 2 walls, 15% infill, supports on - they carry the underside of the box lip and the top of each ball, and break off by hand.
The tallest plate is 175 mm, so it fits an A1 mini with 5 mm to spare. Print the two sets of pieces in colours that stay apart under a lamp - the balls are small and a dark grey against a dark brown gets confusing three moves in.
