Tasarım notları (İngilizce)
PALMDOCK is a modular phone holder with a broad paddle that raises the phone cradle, plus interchangeable card and key holders. It mounts to a compatible tube using separate straps and a soft liner. Keep the paddle pressed while removing the phone: the lift does not latch.
Compatibility and additional parts
Starting phone envelope: up to 80 mm wide and 16 mm thick including its case. Main carrier approximately 112 × 102 × 111 mm, with additional access needed around the axle and paddle. Reference mounting tube: 25.4 mm diameter. Supply two reusable straps up to 10 mm wide and a 1–2 mm soft liner. Universal chair compatibility is not claimed.
Assembly
Remove supports and clean the guides, holes and mating rails. Slide the phone cradle down the carrier's open top guides, with its broad base facing forward.
Place the paddle between the carrier ears, with its rear contact bar underneath the cradle.
Insert the axle through the side holes and paddle hub. Fit the retaining clip into the narrow neck at the opposite end. Check free rotation and secure axial retention.
Place the soft liner behind the common mount. Thread both straps through its channels and secure it to a fixed compatible tube.
Lower the selected module onto the male rail and insert the module retaining pin through the side hole. Its large ring stays outside. Do not use a pin that works loose.
To swap modules, empty the holder, remove the pin, lift the module, then seat and pin the replacement.
Attach keys by their existing ring to the small hole in the large grip ring; hang the grip ring on the key module's raised hook.
Use
With the mount securely fixed, press the broad paddle to raise the phone cradle, take the phone while maintaining pressure, and gently release. Do not force the paddle past its stops. The card holder keeps small cards or a slim wallet within reach; the key module presents the large grip ring.
Print project
One complete A1 PETG project, two plates: seven phone-system parts and three extra-module parts. All are lilac to match the real print. 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers, four walls, 30% gyroid and build-plate tree supports. Keep 100% scale and the supplied orientations; clean support residue without forcing joints.
Validation and first-use checks
The three real photographs show printed parts and assembly. The covers are illustrative static studio scenes; secure tube mounting is required before operating the paddle. Begin on a fixed test tube with a dummy phone. Load capacity, strap security, release force and suitability for a particular user have not been measured. Keep fingers clear of the mechanism. This is not a body-weight support; check wheel, brake, folding and transfer clearances before considering chair use.
